Why the water is the problem
Chlorine is in municipal water on purpose — it keeps the supply safe. It also strips the lipid layer that keeps skin from drying out and hair from going brittle. Hard water adds dissolved minerals that leave a film, which is why hair can feel coated and never quite clean. You cannot condition your way out of either. You filter it before it reaches you.
Fitting it
1. Unscrew your shower head from the arm by hand.
2. Wrap the thread with the tape included, screw SULIS onto the arm.
3. Screw your shower head back on to the other end. Run it for a minute to flush.

A shower filter reduces chlorine and sediment. It is not a water softener — it will not remove all dissolved minerals, and it will not fix a plumbing problem. Will it fit my shower?
If your shower head unscrews from the arm, yes. It is a universal thread.
Does it reduce pressure?
Slightly, in the way any filter does. Most people do not notice; if your pressure is already poor, you will.
How often do cartridges need changing?
Roughly every three months depending on your water. Three spares are in the box.
Is this a water softener?
No. It filters chlorine, sediment and metals. Softening is a different process.
What if I do not notice a difference?
